What is the app about?
People are generally willing to answer each phone call, but sometimes get under pressure when they receive a call in inconvenient situations. In these cases, they would like to inform the caller about the reasons for rejecting/postponing the call and appreciate to have additional information about the reasons for calling in order to decide whether they should pick up or not.
Moreover, People do not want to disturb at all, especially if they know about the other person being very busy. For this reason they appreciate an opportunity to virtually knock or announce the reason and urgency of their call. We call it “phone calls, the polite way”.

What‘s the service I get?
Tactful Calling is an Android application on the mobile phone that lets callers indicate the urgency of their call as well as the time frame they would like to have for the conversation.
Instead of answering an incoming call when busy, Tactful Calling allows the recipient to press one button and indicate to their caller that they are busy and will call them back later. It enhances existing proprietary and handset based solutions (e.g. sending a predefined and costly SMS) by adding useful information about the call in a chat-like style via the IP connection of the voice.
Tactful Calling is functional if both parties of a call have installed the app.
